Reachitected a SaaS service that failed when faced with 2000 users. Had severe data isolation issues.
Turned a monolithic application into a microservices architecture allowing it to scale to more than 1M users per cluster.
Each client received their own database schema and data was isolated between clients.
IT Operations
For Huawei I established the IT Outsourcing business. The initial sale was for 22 datacentres across 8 African countries for a major Telco.
We implemented full observability, automated deployment, service centre, contract management and end user support.
Raised SLAs from 85% to 99.9% in the first 8 weeks of the contract.
ISO 2700 Compliance
Established and maintained the BAU processes for ISO 27001 compliance. All policies, processes, reporting and employee training.
Achieved ISO 27001 certification and maintained compliance through subsequent audits for 5 years.
